A report today on the Rinns of what must surely be a white morph Gyr Falcon, "large white falcon chasing another bird, later mobbed by Hooded Crows," links with the possible sighting of a bird before Christmas and a very brief possible sighting of an individual on the Oa a few days ago.
Notorious for going unrecorded for days on end, it seems worth everyone's while keeping an eye open to gain confirmation of the bird and absolutely anywhere on Islay too.
